| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | She Cat, the thread is here for any and all to jump in! Glad to see you doing so.
Today I mowed a little. It was nice to get outside in the sun for awhile. I put on make up. Got in the car and rode with my husband into town for his hair cut and get a lawn mower part. Did not get out of the car, but I went! Withdrawals are finally breaking this round and am happy about it. |

| | Ryan (my new friend here) helped me (okay he mostly did it! lol) hang my heavy bag today. So I finished setting up the basement.. and I boxed! I did a series of stretches, skipping, and boxing for 30 mins. Damn that felt good! I missed doing that!
Hehe, I can barely type I'm shaking so bad from the workout! I haven't been able to box in almost three years, so this was awesome! Tore up my hands a little but I didn't even notice! If I hadn't had gotten a stitch in my side I'd still be at it!
Damn I love boxing! :kickass::fight::biggrin:

| | Up at 4:30 am, did laundry. (drove my neighbor batty with the washer) Worked out for about 30 minutes. (treadmill) No boxing for me. I will always remember that Bec is a toughy when boxing......I will not argue with her....LOL!!!!! Off to work, and then home. Ok so the rest of the day will be spent cleaning........
Then hitting the treadmill again...
Hugs all,

| | I bought a bike! It will help me get out more and get some exercise, too. I was very nervous about having to go into a store and talk to someone about it, try one out (it's been 18 years since I was on one!), and actually buy one, but I did it! I pick it up tomorrow. |

| | :crazy-eye I went to my film makers group this afternoon.....We were trying to come up with story ideas for a next short film....SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! It looks like were doing Assassinators Anonymous....It about a group with people who have been assassinators and now want to quit.....We were each developing our own characters.....weapon of choice..costumes...and the like....It looks like I will be having my acting debut in this one....I am going to play a middled aged woman in a wheelchair....she will be brightly dressed in casual clothes....her weapon = knives.....which she has hidden in her big tote and big brimmed hat and perhaps somewhere on her wheelchair....We will be developing a written script and will start shooting late August/early September......WOW!!!! :cuckoo: ....SPREADING THE PEACE..... |

| | I faced the world today. Went to my doctor's, dealt with the disablity office (which is a major stress point for me), dealt with the bank and even dropped by the mall to pick up a gift for my wife because the end of the month will be the anniversary of us living together for 3 years!!! I got her a rose and a tiny stuffed panda that is also a interactive video game thing, she loves games. We also went out for a walk, which was impressive because my wife has been avoiding going out as well and so just going for a walk is something else, but we love it every time. We even got a couple of ice creams for the trip home.
