Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now.

Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year.

Went to talk to a friend that is a therapist.....went to a place re:emergency housing......nothing is helping right now. I am in a bad place but keep putting one foot in front of he other.

Got through a whole lecture on different types of gliomas (brain tumors) and head injuries. So dull... yet I feel accomplished for the day. :p

well actually it was yesterday, but...I finally called someone to make an appointment to have my left shoulder attended to. I have been plagued by tendonitis since December, and am slowly losing more and more mobility in my left arm. Not good since I am left handed! So now I will get it taken care of.

Thouroughly enjoyed encourging and helping my husband this morning in continued preparation for his new profession. And, tonight prepared and cooked, my two children and my dinner..... (highly unusal, as my husb.'s been the chef around here for quite sometime now), .....and turned dinner into a candlelight dinner for the kids and I. The children and I, all had some great conversation and also today, my children and I thouroughly enjoyed other responsible, yet 'made fun' shared time. Awesome day!
