| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | I finished three of my crochet projects: mittens, slippers and a scarf. I called my step-mom to let her know the scarf was done as it was her gift... lol that I started making ten years ago.. we had a good chuckle over that one! :)

| | I did some footwork, including: looking for a job, preparing for an unpleasant but inevitable interview, working on the preliminary research for my book, and deciding to be kind, patient and gentle with myself. |

Won a small poker tournament last night. Proud of myself for winning on my original buy-in and for coming back from being the short-stacked player at the final table. For once, I didn't lose my shirt playing poker! |

| | Interesting morning. Heard a crying outside my hotel room window. I investigated, and a tiny cat was stuck in a drain pipe. Called the authorities, who managed to remove the tiny kitten. Somewhat weakened and dirty. However. The animal control officers believe the kitten will recover nicely.
I would have taken the kitten home.My daughter would love it, as its a black kitten. However. I am out of the country at the moment, unfortunately. Too complicated to obtain papers and so forth. Certain though it will get a good home.
Jim.

| | Enjoyed a good part of the day with my children. Ate a tuna salad at the ocean while children played on their scooters. Then later went to the playground and the three of us played and had fun. Then went out for soft-serve icecream. The kids and I were exicited to be going out for icecream, but soft-serve and the size these places offer now-a-days, no thanks, ...not again. Next trip out for icecreams will be a really great place I know of, yet it's much further a drive away. Oh' well, we had a good time today and last night when the four of us went out to the movies and saw this ..........f........u..........n..........n.............y animated film. I mean super funny! And, it was nice to hear my husband laughing so. These children's films don't alway impress my husband, but he really enjoyed this one, as did all of us. |
