| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | Nam, that is great you did it, I can relate! My kids think I am full of it and up to something when I do that, or ask do you have to go to the doctor today?
Myself, I am allowing myself to feel good. I am still sleppy but not in a bad way and I got the good nap with no dreams I recall, got the kids to school and picked up. Did not wear my night gown and big chicken slippers to do it either (thank goodness too since the 2 yo needed to go in one of the schools to tinkle)! Read books to my little one. Pet my cats. :smoking: I feel so much better. |

| | mmmnnn, cheesecake I decided to make myself (and my family, if they're lucky) a cheesecake because today I celebrate my 35th birthday! As a child I was convinced I wouldn't live past 21, but here I am, still making it! The crust is graham crackers, animal crackers, toasted walnuts and a pinch of cinnamon, generously drizzled with butter...I use vanillia and almond extract in the filling and it is to die for (figure of speech). I decided that wasn't enough so I also made a carmel sauce and I couldn't stop licking the spoon. I would share with y'all if I could, I will be sure to enjoy half of it on all of your behalf!
Nam - isn't it funny the associations our children have for our behaviors? My girls do the same thing when I put on makeup (it's a rare thing these days!) |

| | Had a candlelit dinner with hubby. (He's on new meds so I thought the softer light would be a bit more userfriendly for him) |
