| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

...only got worse.
...too much crap going on.
...bad place to grow up in. :gunem-dow
...it messed me up.
...depression, eating disorder, self-harm, and the like.
...started therapy three years ago.
...long road. :crazy-eye
...denial, belief, denial, grieving, denial, avoidance, "forgetting," and oh - crap!
...I DO remember.
...and I get to clean up the mess now.:drugs:

| | Just curious because of the way you posted... fast, sharp, too the point statements, top of the head, moment type writing. That is why I asked, because you may off just written like that because your nervous about opening up within a public forum like this, as we all do initially. But you answered no, hence why I asked. Nothing to worry about, just curious.
So losses, what was messed up within your family to give your PTSD? Abuse, violence, sexual abuse, assault? |

| | PTSD from family issues Losses, the way you quickly described your life was remarkable. You seem to be a very intelligent and creative person. I have ptsd from family issues as well and with all of them living so close the triggers happen all the time. Anyway, I just wanted to say "hello" to you. I'm new to this as well. Look forward to talking...Take Care Keep going |
