| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

UGH I just realized my uncle can read this thread if he wants. I'm sure he'll be all happy about it too. Blah....
| Batgirl, I was about to bring this to your attention when you first wrote it, but then, I thought, well, it's not exactly "bad shit". LOL. Besides, it's something you haven't done... So what if your uncle is happy about it? I have a feeling there is nothing you can do to deter him away. He loves you and you miss him, and it's ok. |

| | Why is that tig? The thread title is very much self explanatory... its about us getting the bad shit we do, out of us. It is our past, not who we are.
I just remembered actually back to the first time I had sex... lost my virginity as such. My girlfriend as such back then, we both got drunk at a party. We slept together in the early morning, and well... as first time sex is, quick... it was over before it was done. I felt pretty uncomfortable about it all to be honest, so I left and never spoke with her again. I didn't really know how to approach her after that, as I was realistically still far to immature to cope with it. That was pretty nasty... |

| | One of the things that I tried to get out and did not and there are some others... But one thing I said I would touch up on at the start of the thread and have not... It came to light during moving. It was club promotions, I did when DJing. I saw after many years the photos of the shoot for the "gentelmen's clubs" On one hand made me ill on the other I thought I used to look like that??? Bright side even though I did the newspaper ads (you know "those" news papers) I am happy I turned down a bill board... I would never lived that one down. So even if bad and embarassing it could have been plastered on a freeway!
I just got those photos and it was a major throw back. Bad thing was in some I saw the bruising on my arms from being grabbed during abuse that I did not recall, it brought it to the surface a couple days ago and left me pretty messed up but I am sure I will be fine now. Guess it had to sink in, and lord I have been too busy to dwell... |
