Bingo veiled... you got it. Not an object, but a human being, that comes with emotions.

Default The Wonder Years...

Like y'all, I haven't thought about this stuff in a zillion years...thought I'd forgotten most of it 'til I read this thread. (But don't we all like to believe the bad sh*t never happened?)
Aside from the usual stuff we did as kids, most of the bad stuff that you want to forget forever was done TO me. I guess I have a sign on my forehead that says "Sure, do it! I won't care!" I'll wait on clarification re: whether it goes in here or not.
In the meantime:
-Age 3: Stuck Mom's keys into the electrical outlet & shorted out the electricity.
-Age 4: Activated the alarm at home to see if it worked, then denied it... Dad had to explain to the Police & Firemen that he didn't know HOW this could"ve happened...
-Age 5: While in class, the girl behind me (Gigi) was cutting out portions from the back of my hair. She wouldn't stop, so I turned around & stabbed the back of her hand (on the desk) w/my #2 pencil...I broke off the lead in her hand. (Nope, not sorry! Who names their kid 'Gigi' anyway?)
-Age 6: I stole a pack of gum & Mom made me take it back in & apologize.(But I wasn't sorry.)
-Age 7: Riding in car w/Dad...I flipped off a cop next to us.(Oops!) We pulled over & I had to apologize. (Scared I was going to jail for sure!)
-Age 7: Family loading car for vacation (car was running).I got in driver's seat & put car in drive; I almost ran over my brother before hitting brick wall.
-Age 15:Was in a Catholic school for girls: In homeroom, took out this new condom, unrolled it & put a little water in it, then tacked it to the bulletin board. Sister Bernard was FURIOUS! She was so beside herself we couldn't have homeroom that day. In 2 hrs, the entire school was laughing about it.
-Ages 17-20: Drove home (60 miles) very drunk every weekend. I never remembered the drive, just remembered turning off lights & sneaking in.
-Age 19: Got sh*t-faced at a 4th of July party at someone else's lakehouse. I remember heading to the bathroom, but woke up face down on the carpet in the sunroom downstairs at 0500. Drove home quickly to get in before my parents woke up. (Mission accomplished, by 20 minutes!)

Enough for now...

When we were 16, my best friend & I would waterski everyday in this resort town in AR. We never failed to run up on a boat full of about 30 tourists. She'd get the ski boat within range, & while all these senior citizens were smiling & waving, I'd cross the wake quickly towards the tourists (still waving) and with the ski, I'd spray the boat back to front. Some of the seniors thought it was funny, but the drenched majority stopped waving. We showed no mercy-- we sprayed every one of those we came upon. (Kinda mean...)
In more recent history, I was married with children & a career yet I had an affair with a man who also had a wife, children and his own career. He turned out to be the love of my life.

Default "You little theif!"

Forgot this earlier: I think I was in the 9th grade when I started stealing money from my mom's purse. (Never from Dad's wallet tho-- he'd kick my arse all the way across town.) It's not like they wouldn't have given me the money if I asked & had a good reason...I just didn't want to ask. One day while I was going thru Mom's purse, I found 10mg Valium & Lasix bottles. So, yes, I had to try them. I already knew what each was for. It's obvious why I took the Valium. But I took the Lasix because, in my little anorexic mind, I needed to have some water pulled out of my system to look better. I was SO disappointed that neither med seemed to work at all. If you're gonna go out of your way to steal something, it oughta work!

Well I think I'm ready to share something fairly recent... about 3 years ago, when I was in university, I purchased one of those yellow 'support our troops' ribbons and was wearing it on my jacket. There was a peace protest on campus and I walked by it, and this girl yelled at me, basically saying I was stupid for supporting the troops. She was carrying a sign, and I grabbed it away from her, pushed her to the ground and hit her with the sign a few times before someone else pulled me off her. I got arrested and charged with assault. Lucky for me though she wasn't physically hurt, although I'm sure I freaked her out pretty bad. Anyways because she wasn't physically hurt, I got a light sentence, just community service.

I was 17 & driving 15mph over the limit thru town. A cop popped up behind me with his lights & sirens on. I was in trouble, no doubt about it. (They were very strict about the speed limits and fines were high.) I didn't want a ticket... so my brilliant idea was to not stop. The street was a series of 90 degree turns & I'm easily 4 car lengths ahead of the cop. After the 2nd turn, I spotted a used car lot. Before I could think about it, I whipped into the 2nd row of the lot, cut the lights & laid down across the seats. It worked, he passed right by. When it was safe, I went on about my business. I didn't learn until later from Dad (an attorney) that what I had done was "Felony Evading..."

Arggggg... nice to see batgirl and tig finally ridding some of this shit from you both. Well done.

I got into a shop lifting thing late teens... it was becoming a compulsion, but got caught and learnt my lesson. Mind you, I had probably stolen over a $1000 worth of stuff before getting caught...

When I was 13, I had been set up by my mom for a date with a 17yo. I lost my virginity via "date rape." I said "No" repeatedly. I fought like hell. And I cried the entire time. When I got home, I stayed in the shower 'til the hot water ran out. Then I sat in the tub for what must have been hours; but I couldn't get clean.
In the fall when I went into the 9th grade, I looked around, feeling like I didn't fit in, like somehow everybody else knew...
This is the 1st time I've told anyone.
