| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | I just walked my dog.. for THREE HOURS!! It was great! I hurt my already hurt back slipping on ice.. but I don't care. I had lot's of fun. There's around three feet of snow outside.. so Cougie and I played a lot in it and chased each other around.. that's the first time I've walked in her in months and I'm soooo glad I did. We needed that.

| | Wow bec, you read my mind! (or should I say, did it before I did?)
I was just thinking about taking Mr. Bear for a walk too.
Time to dress up in the skidoo gear... and brave the cold.
It's 5:52 a.m. so it should be fairly quiet out. :) |

| | How was your walk Y&A? Did you go?
LOL, I'm wondering what I was thinking of walking for that long last night! I swear every part of me, including my teeth, is swollen and throbbing right now!
I'm glad I walked.. but I think I may need to cut down the amount of time I do it at once until I'm used to walking again and my back heals....
Ohhhh I just have to push it.. don't I? I am my own worst enemy.. Hell even the dog doesn't want to move yet!

| | Oh my walk was awesome :)
I actually brought along my handycam and shot some footage of Mr. Bear doing tricks and playing in the snow.
A nice little project for myself... editing and making a video, no pressure, just for fun.
Something that doesn't require alot of physical energy, lol. just sitting |

| | I have another day off due to the weather! I've got to get out of the house, though--the pine trees that tower above my little house have been dropping snow and slush on the roof all day, and every time another clump hits the roof, I jump a foot. I'm way too edgy to stay here right now. Off for some decaf coffee! |

I've been converting the video from the handycam so that I can edit it on my comp.
Ughhhhhh.
I'm ready to say "screw it!" |

| | Y&A, we need to get you a digital camera!
Felt very sick all day. Slept on and off. My face is all puffy and I keep getting dizzy. I think I really overdid it yesterday. So other than digging out my guitar I haven't done much nor posted much.
I'm going to attempt to get some sleep again and hope I'm not so dizzy tomorrow as I have to go uptown and pay a bill.

| | day not starting well... my little one did something to my lap cord where it plugs in the computer (pulling on it and it bent)so one little bump and it shuts down as my battery is fried and it won't charge either grrr. Then I get on this thing that keeps getting slower and slower after clearing files and disk clean ups defragging to open it up today and see all my flipping bookmarks are gone! So this thing needs to go to the shop.
But good thing hubs got a massager to use on my back, dr sholles or something like that last night. Huge and it bends and came with roller and heats up. Vibrates way too hard even on low but finally got used to it. Felt like it was knocking the wind out of me when it touched my back. Finally got used to it and the muscles finally loosened up in my shoulder blades and was able to pass out with those roller going. I needed the sleep, of course was back up at 2 AM but got some sleep and my back still hurts but not as bad, maybe a few days of it I will get relief! |

| | Wow bad bad night. I had the most severe anxiety attacks last night. Everytime I laid down I would feel like I was dying, if I got up I was fine. I have no idea what I was even panicking about. It took me four hours to realize I was panicing and not dying by then I was a complete mess. Took an ativan and slept till 2. Went uptown paid a bill, bought guitar stuff and still feel as if I'm sliding into panic zone.. don't know what is triggering this!
