| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

Money is good! always a nice stress relief,
plus, meds are going good... AWESOME!
Dont' worry about passing out for 18 hours, your body will catch up and hopefully things will normalize in a bit.

Y&A | Hehe, I just came from emergency. I have to stop taking my meds for a few days (until I'm awake again) then go on them every second day. Guess I'm not supposed to be sleeping this much. For such a little dose it has quite the wallop. I guess the bloody things build up in your system and since I have no tolerance for chemicals, it just flattened me. The bright side is this is the most sleep I've had in over six years! I feel good sleep wise! hehe

| | I know hat you mean... sometimes I'll take a sleeping pill at night and then in the morning I am like no don't wake me up now it was so peacefull. I can see how some one would say to themselfs maybe I could take one during the day. I thought about it once and then I thought well then what if I liked it to much and Just slept forever.Needless to say I decided that would be selfish and I could end up dead. |

| | Yeah, I don't think sleeping forever would be a good thing, yikes!
I'm glad the medication has been sorted out.
What kind of sleeping meds were you on? (if you don't mind sharing...)
Boyfriend and roomates decided to stay home from work tonight,

| | Morning went great, much work accomplished. Afternoon I was spaced out, agitated and couldn't think straight.-frustrating. Napped for 1 1/2 hrs. This evening went extrordinary well. I was willing and capable of communicating. As for sleep, not so sure how that will go. |

| | scarlette, if I take a sleeping pill I like to take it about 2 hours before I go to bed, that way I still have wind down time and go to bed tired. Plus I dont wake up as groggy. If Im planning on going to bed at 10 I will take it at 8 and by 7 the next morning when my daughter wakes up, its usually worn off. |

Hehe, they can't even halve this. I'm already on the smallest dose possible (my doc is used to me LOL) so now it's every couple days and if that doesn't work then every three days... we just keep cutting until I'm okay. Silly eh? Poor Kerrie. I can commiserate. It can be a real pain...
