| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | Scarlette, Yeah, I totally hate being "away from home"
it was a 5 hour drive there... 2 hours to visit... 5 hours straight back home.
My relatives don't understand how I would rather do this then stay in the city where my "accident" happened.
Today, I just woke up from a 11 hour coma (sleep, lol)
Tons of nightmares... but at least my body was able to rest slightly.
Roomates showed up with beer, yay!!!
What a wakeup, lol |

| | Scarlette,
As far as I know, you are the only other "poster" (lots of people just read... and aren't ready to post yet)
that I have met that has facial or head injuries.
When I say injuries... I don't mentally, I mean actually physical damage done.
And yes, the beer does in a pinch. I ran out of my pain meds, and can't get a refill until Monday.
(I thought I was smart... taking myself off of them, to "see" if the pain was still as intense... stupid move on my part now... lol)
I'm not going to let that priscriptions run out again! |

| | Scarlette,
Were you running around because of the pain? Or a panic attack?
Sounds horrible |

| | the "goody" probally just needed the time to kick in.
I'm on my second beer, and not feeling any relief.
Although I'm not really expecting it to stop any pain, that would be unrealistic. |

Half settled back into M and D's.
Bro dearest is staying out of my way.
My dog gets the drains out of his belly tomorrow, the stitches are looking good though he is still on antibiotics and pain killers.
I actually slept last night.l | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
