| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | Anthony,
I have been doing some research on anxiety, anxiety attacks are one if not the worst of my problems. I have been researching different coping methods and would like to help out by possibly helping moderate the anxiety portion of the forum. Perhaps in the future I would be able to contribute more as I learn more about other aspect of PTSD I am dealing with. Thanks. |

| | Anthony, I value your judgement very much and I am sure this board is a heavy load for you to bear on your own (you blow my mind really). You have given us so much I would be an ass not to try to help where I can! I am just not sure where you think I would do best to help myself and others. So I volunteer but is it too much to ask that you help guide me once again to where you think I would prove most useful and useful for me? I am home 95% of the time and online looking up every aspect I can find on the different symptoms anyway.
I know with panic disorder I have a pretty decent grasp on anxiety and fight depression a bit. Anger I am learning... If I think about it I am having to learn all aspects still and trying to learn to cope with them all on a regular basis anyway. Just place me where you would like if you would like me on board.

| | Veiled, so much appreciated. How does that new title under your username suit you? That is probably the best way you can help the board, because it gives you the power to edit any unsavoury posts, users, etc etc. This gives you the ability to pretty much manage every aspect of the board, which would really help me and the forum IMHO. |

| | Anthony,
I know I am new to this realm, but I have been recently doing research on sleeping patterns and also on nightmares. I am currently attending a University in the US, study to be a full fledge counselor. I know I still struggle with my own issues, but feel I might be of some help.
