Batgirl, glad to hear you're doing better. Sleep is our body's way of helping in the healing process, so don't fight it. Do what you have to to get better and then worry about coming here to post.
Jim, glad to have you here. It'll help both you and Batgirl. My husband posts on this site occasionally, but he reads much more! He is educating himself in the whys of my actions due to PTSD and I hope you are doing the same. |

Oh and I'm taking a break from the forum again... I shouldn't have been on here so soon after my discharge from hospital anyways, but as usual I am stubborn and thought it wouldn't hurt. However, I've been getting these wicked nightmares now (worse than usual), for the last couple of days. So I'm signing off until Tuesday or Wednesday I think. |

Well I'm back after my short break. Going for my MRI this afternoon.
My uncle left for CFB W. about an hour ago. It's an army base. He's going to be there for a couple of days. Something to do with deploying... then he'll come back here. So it's just me and my auntie now. We're hoping to do some girl stuff while he's gone, although I'm still not feeling too well.
I'm really upset about him being deployed. Been having nightmares about it... in the nightmares I'm in Afghanistan, and my uncle gets shot by some terrorists, or blown up in a bomb. Then sometimes my uncle turns into my dad and is shooting me and my auntie, or trying to. We're all in my father's old house on the base, and I can't get out, all the doors are locked, and it's dark and the light switches don't work. So I'm trapped. The scariest thing for me though is that in the dreams, I'm now looking for a gun myself!! So that I can kill the terrorists or kill my uncle, respectively. Anyways, scary scary stuff. |

Batgirl, just reading this post. You mentioned the weight loss. Get the doc to put you on Remeron. Its for depression. My doc said "You might see some weight gain".
