| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | I tried waxing once... That first tear was enough for me 12 years ago. For some reason I bought into the whole "it will give the bikini line a nice apperance and no issue", pleany of other did it. After I started bleeding and had a huge purple welt from the bruising I decided I would just stick with razors now. For some reason nicks just did not seem like an issue anymore. And it wasn't like I coud go to the beach after that stunt any way. 20 years old and stupid. Next time I feel the need to see if I can rip a sheet of skin off I now know how. Oh, have fun!!
ETA - Hope the screams do not peel the paint off the walls, and don't be shocked if you break out in a sweat.

Cathy, I may scream, but you may be able to hear me in WV. If you open your windows wide enough.
Tell me girls, what is in this wax anyway. Is it warm when they put it on or cold.
Cheers

| | I am not.. I just think it's hilarious.. like watching men get tattoes.. they have to have fans on them and pass out on a regular basis.. I think it's extremely funny..
In the wax, will soon be your hair! LOL
Usually it is warm, sometimes hot (sometimes it burns you if they have it heated up too much.)
Have fun!

| | Hi Beca, are you pale skinned and blonde or red-head as they usually burn in the sun quite easily.
