| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | Hi Marlene, mystery solved. I've decided to that if I'm brave enough with my legs getting waxed, I might as well go the whole hog and do my chest as well.
When the time comes, I'll get a photo of me before, and one after the waxing is done.
So my dear I'll need your morale support, will you hold my hand, "PLEASE".
Cheers

| | I have red hair, "auburn" to be exact. And yes, I know that pale skin goes hand in hand with that hair. And before you ask, yes I have freckles, yes I have green eyes.

| | the hair is pulled out by the roots, will hurt a fair bit, different for a chest wax, thick hair pulled out by follicles, youll notice the difference, may also have a nasty soreness and discoloured skin for a while, also dont expect it to grow back the way it was. |

| | It's been awhile since I've had it done, but normally I talk through my waxing... the waxing usually doesn't even inturrupt the conversation.
Not sure if I have a high pain tolerance, but I find the most painful part is if you have clothing that rubs against your raw skin afterwards.
My advice would be if you have really hairy legs... trim it beforehand.
That way it'll be easier to wax sections |

| | BTW Scott-it could always be worse. Instead of leg and maybe a chest wax, you could have opted for a Brazilian. Now that's sacrificing for charity!!!!! |
