I notice that I tense right up when I hear voices raising.

The really funny thing is that I get really anxious when I hear low voices behind closed doors. Because my parents used to argue like that. You could feel the tension and they would pretend that nothing was happening.

I don't go to the movies anymore because the noise in the theater totally overwhelms me.

People yelling (especially in anger) really bothers me and it never did before...not sure why it does now.

Last night my husband was fixing my daughter's radio and when he got it fixed, it was turned on (had been left on) and was LOUD. About pulled me out of my socks and he was in another room!

Noise never bothered me before. Now...oh yeah.

I get like that when i hear the low voices behind closed doors too...as you said you could feel the tension, and it was just rise and rise and then become completely unbareable to the point where id end up drinking myself to sleep most of the time.
