A VA psychiatrist concurred with the Waverly resident's mental health counselor and family doctor that he does have the disorder and is entitled to disability pay. Early last month he received his first monthly check for about $1,400.

I posted this, because I think others who may be in the same situation, often just need a little hope that they can win their battles. I say this, because I as well know, just how much extra stress it causes upon us with PTSD when we have to worry about things that we shouldn't be worrying about, ie. finances are a big one.

How did he get the help he needed? The help I received has failed me, I"m not going to give up, I can't, I have to try again, I have to go over it "all" again, re-live it all over again, because that's what it will take, the bad dreams, the sweats etc... all because of politics and then we must suffer more???? Ed
