Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now.

Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year.

I know I'm being silly, just a girly moment on my part. They don't happen often thank god!

Just have to remember, be in the now & try not to stress over things that are beyond my control.

Its ok to be emotional Jods we all do it! You may be a bit apprehensive of what to expect when Hubby comes home you sound like you have a good understanding relationship so you will be ok.

Thanks Jen. I have told him that he has to be honest with me about how he is feeling & not put on a mask to make me feel as if everything is ok. If he tries to I'll kick his butt!LOL!

I had to laugh because I was told to be gentle on him yet he has appts & things on for the next 3 or 4 days. Yeah, thats easing him back to "reality". Expecting him to be trashed by early next week.

Just another day in PTSD paradise!LOL!

You girls seem to be in a decent mood :) i am glad...haven't been here for a while :( still not internet...i got lucky tonight. Well just reading up on everyone... Glad we are staying strong for our partners and ourselves!!!

On the count down. 5 more sleeps till hubby & I go to Tasmania for my friends wedding. Only going for 4 full days but at least we will be child free!
Looking forward to hitting the Salamanca markets because we missed it last time we were there.

Hey Jods enjoy yourself in Tassie I was down there a couple of years ago. Are you going up to Launceston as well if so you should go for a walk along the Cataract Gorge its great.The Salamanca Markets are great as well!

Thanks Ladies! I know I will enjoy the time away, love the little guy but I'm sure he will enjoy a break from me!LOL!

Hi Jen
We went to the Gorge last time we were there. It was beautiful. Only going to Hobart this time. Bugga, no Boags tasting this time. Can't wait to see the markets as we missed it last time & hubby has put me on a budget as he knows I would probably shop up a storm there given the chance!
How are things with you? Hope you're well & still getting out there to have a round of golf when you can!

Hi Jods not that great I seem to have some sort of bug that has lasted for a couple of weeks going to day surgery next week for some tests to see whats going on.
So not much golf dont feel like doing to much at all hope I can get on top of this soon.
Hubby has been quite supportive which helps
Actually he has no choice especially that we have a business to run so he has had to lift himself a bit!
