| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | I'm sorry she had that complication. I'm a bleeder, too. Prayers continuing. And I'll send Evie more funny emails when I see them.
You and Jim take care! |

| | Evie Hey Kathy, Jim, Evie!
I hope you all got a good night's sleep and are feeling better today. I also hope that the nurses are keeping Evie's pain meds up to speed. I had surgery this summer and if it weren't for my husband and I both advocating for me, I would have been miserable. We are all cheering for you. |

| | Thank you all, Evie is now out of intensive care. She was removed to a regular ward earlier this afternoon, and if she continues to do well, we may be able to take her home tomorrow. Fingers crossed! She is in very good spirits. Her pain is being managed superbly and I believe that makes all the difference. The staff even complimented us on how pleasant and uncomplaining she is! Curious, the nurse the joked with me that the sickest patients usually complain the least! Evie's two "roommates" in the hospital are healthy other than having the surgery (no cancer or other major concerns) and bless them, they were complaining nonstop whilst Jim and I were visiting Evie, and running the nurses ragged with requests.
In any event, thank you once again for all your wishes. Although we obviously haven't heard the results of the tumour testing yet, we are hopeful about it and are delighted at Evie's good mood. More tomorrow, I seem to be having a very slow internet connection tonight, likely due to the current forum upgrades. |
