Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now.

Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year.

Oh man I don't know where to start! 35y/o male, married 11 years, 5 kids.
I lost 3 family members in 2000, my sister in law was murdered 2 years ago.
I am going crazy with noone to talk to!!!!

Hi sessenme, I think your in the right place to seek help, and talk. My father was brutally murdered 11 years ago. I was the lucky one to find his decomposed body. I can relate to your pain. I hope you find peace soon.

Hi,

So many people out there with pain. My brother was murdered in 1974 than my mom killed my dad in 1978 due to physical and mental abuse than my stepson 8years ago was killed. After my mom got out of jail she remarried and it was questioned about my alcoholic step-father weather he had anything to do with my moms death. After investigation, he told me with a grin that he held my moms hand till she died. We found out the police were told she was not on any meds and she was her heart pills. We couldn't prove this as a possible murder so without driving myself crazy, I had to give up after doing my own investigations and leave it in God's hands. The day after she died, we found out he sent flowers to a woman and took her out to dinner forging my mothers checks. Again nothing could be done, I stopped her checking and banking before it reached $10,000 so the law would not get involved.

So sorry for your pain as well
