Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now.

Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year.

As I sit here thinking this afternoon I think he would be most happy locked up in a house with his big TV it wouldnt matter where we live

I second Nicolette's words Jen, I'm glad you can laugh about it. Jim is not much of a TV man, he has his fishing shows and war documentaries that he watches, however for the most part I don't have to fight for the remote.

Well he went into work today and I managed to get my day off I rang him to make sure he was out of bed and he was up earlier today and went of to work.
I know he will sleep in for the rest of the week but at least I got my day off!

Hubby is really down the last couple of days. I can rack my brain wondering whats bought this on I have no idea I think it has been building up he seemed to be not good last week?
He wont get out of bed he got out of bed last night ate some pizza then went back to bed.
What more can you do? I cant drag him out of bed? I just rang him and asked if he wanted to go and see Doc he said dont worry about him I told him I was worried about him he said he would be right! Yeh when!!!!!!!!!!
