Veiled, thank you. Your post made me smile. I'll be getting a map tomorrow.

Invest in a GPS navigational system.. Like 200$. It will get you there and back. It will get you home with a touch of a button.. Oh and I too am a sexual trauma PTSD And a Combat PTSD.. I would pick combat over the other any day.

Hehe, I use a map myself here. It took me about a month and a half to start getting brave and drive around. Now I'm not afraid to get lost and just consider it part of learning the city. It is a new adventure everytime!

I tried the GPS yesterday and when it gave me a different route to take than what I'm use to I got scared and went home. Talk about trust issues... Can't even trust a GPS, made me realize I have a lot of work to do!

That was so funny about trusting your GPS. Here's why... My best friend's husband has one and uses it all the time. Whenever I am driving somewhere with them and his GPS tells him to take a route I am not used to, I ask if he is sure the GPS is right.

So far the GPS has always taken us on a better route, but still, I don't trust it 100%.

Hugs,

vst
