| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | We are Grandparents Again - Twin Boys! Jim and I are thrilled to announce that our son Rick and his girlfriend Angela had their twins boys at 3:45 am this morning. They were delivered by c section, however mother and babies are both doing splendidly well. The little ones' names are Dylan Thomas and James Morrison. Not certain how we feel about giving the children rock star names, however Jim is thrilled that one boy is named after him. Angela and Rick were quite clever, as Angela's father is Thomas. So both grandfathers are honoured. In any event we are most excited to be grandparents once more, we now have 8 grandchildren total! |

| | Congrats!!! According to my MIL (who has 18 grandkids), it never stops being wonderful to get a new grandbaby.
Congrats to Jim for having one of the baby's named after him. My daughter is going to give our grandson her father's name as a middle name...but he doesn't know. Big secret just between us girls.
Happy news for your whole family.

| | Thank you all for the wishes, we are simply over the moon about our new Hallowe'en babies! We will see them for the first time tomorrow. Angela wanted to rest a bit first understandably, considering she had a c section. Rick and Angela live an hours' drive from the acreage, which is nothing for us, so we will likely be seeing the babes often, perhaps once a week, similar to Travis and Krista's little ones, we see them 1-2 times weekly. |

| | LOL Kathy.. Sometimes I wish my parents took the kids more often.. and they live next door to us!!!! however they seem to shy a bit when they where little as if the kids where to delacate or something! lol at least the kids run over there all the time and pop in.. and my parents do the same. We have grown so use to having family actually next door that I don't know what I would do if they where farther away! |
