| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | Kids can be so rotten to each other. I'm sorry this happened to Matt, Bec. I hope after the weekend recouping that he feels better. This is sure something he didn't need on his plate.

| | Kids can be so brutal !!!!! I hope Matt will be ok ! It is hard enough when this happens to a child with no problems, but when it happens to someone like Matt, it could and will be so much harder to get better.
Hope that a few days at home and talking it over will help him :) |

| | Thanks everyone.
Matt seen his therapist today. He told me it helped him. He also spoke to his EA from school and they have made sure Matt knows to go and find him if he is stressed out or scared at any time at school. Matt will be going back to school tomorrow! I'm rather happy about this as I was getting worried that he wouldn't go back at all! The school has bent over backwards to work with Matt to get him back in and same with the therapist.
I'm rather relieved that we have gotten through the worst part!
I've been fairly cranky the last few days and have been suffering from some severe stress headaches but I think both of us have weathered this rather well!

| | This morning did not go well. I am on a newly upped dosages for my meds and I do not wake up right now. Matt must have woken me about five times this morning, with complaints about not wanting to go to school. Anything from I'm scared to I just puked. I ended up yelling at him and he went to school.
I feel like a heel. I don't remember much of this morning but it wasn't nice of me to yell. He will be home in a few hours and I'm hoping his day went better than this morning. I'm going to have a nice chat with him when he gets home and see how it went.
UGH.

| | Sorry to hear it Bec. I do hope the rest of the day is better for both of you. I understand feeling badly for yelling, as I have done it myself on several occasions. It is quite a guilty feeling that I believe only another mother understands. I am hopeful it will sort itself out however, as the two of you are close. Take care. |
