| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | LOL, he came home and told me about myself this morning. Guess I was grumbling about all sorts of things and I don't remember any of it! He told me not to take my meds anymore. LOL, he had quite the sense of humor about it.
He puked a few times this morning from stress. Once here and once at school. He managed to stick to classes though and even had a chat with the child involved in the whole episode. They played basketball together and Matt said there are no problems. Matt had to stay back at the school for a play the other kids went to, as there were over a 1000 kids present. He did very good today.
He still has an upset stomach but he knows it's just the anxiety. Thankfully he doesn't hold grudges and just found this morning rather funny with me. He knew this morning I was all drugged up and not making sense!
Hopefully tomorrow his anxiety will lessen a bit more and he won't be puking his guts out! Gave him a break tonight and I did all his chores, so that should help some.

| | Oh that is very amusing Bec, I am glad he took it so well. Obviously you are a very good Mum to him, and he sounds like a wonderful child. I believe he did very well and I hope today is even better for him. |

| | Coming into this late Bec. However. Sorry to hear what happened to your boy. Cruel little bastards. Delighted he's got back on his feet already. Good sign. Both of you take care now.

| | Thanks Jim and Kathy.
Jim: I also yelled at Matt yesterday during high anxiety. You keep saying you should know better, LOL, and god so should I! We all make mistakes.. quit beating yourself up so much over it. I will if you will? Deal?

| | Yes, reckon its time to untie myself from the whipping post. ;-) Terribly difficult not to feel guilty, as your aware. However. Suppose I'm not SuperDad after all. ;-)

| | Yes, it is hard. Removed myself from said whipping post also!
Yesterday, when Matt got home from school, he asked if he could call a friend from school. Of course, was my answer (what, am I crazy and would say no? lol) Well they made arrangements for Matt to go and play over there! So after getting lost trying to find it.. lol... Matt went and played at his friends house for two hours! Damn am I proud of him! Hard to believe that the beginning of this week he wouldn't even go to school and now he's going to a friends house!
He simply just amazes me some days!
