| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | Fun Things To Do With Kids Website I think i can do this - if not - sorry! There is a website family fun that has a lot of stuff (cooking, printouts, coloring sheets etc.) free -- but you do have to register - Even if you don't have kids there are some fun things to make for home or office.
Just a thought to help with some of the winter/holiday blues.

| | Thanks Veiled,
I would like to sound intelligent and say I know what you mean- but I honestly don't know the difference - so should probably not have started this to begin with.

| | I didn't think you sounded unintelligent at all Zoe. In your first post, you were just asking if it was okay to post a link, which is not dumb at all, I wonder about some links myself. I think you made that clear, don't feel bad. |

| | LOL, it is OK. If you choose to add a link there is an option to add link at the top of the reply box. I believe (I am out of it tonight so not 100% sure) if you type www.whatever.comit may automatically link up. What you do is scroll down and UNcheck the box that says Automatically parse links in text. That way they can read the site, copy it and go to it. It is just against rules to put a working link leading outside the forum.
If you don't uncheck that box then we have to go and edit it and disable it. Sometimes if people do this over and over after being asked and advised how to avoid the problem then the posting of that person start being deleted.
The way you did it too works just fine not putting the www before it since everyone knows to do that anyway when pulling a site up. Hope that helped, or I may have just confused you LOL. |

| | OK, I will add I know for sure just putting www in front will link up the site if you just type it in. I just tested it when I posted and went and disabled it. Just make sure you uncheck the box if you type a full wed address. |

When the year is gone I will try and find the funds to renew it!!!!! If you are one of the artistic folks on here.....try checking out DIYnetwork.com......they have a bunch of different creative shows on their own channel on cable [at least on my system] I have sooooo many creative ideas from the shows and if a particular type of project I've seen and forgotten all the steps....I can just check their website....They also offer many programs about improvements for the home....
