| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | My Last Annoying Habit... Gone - No More Nail Biteing From alcohol to medication, cigarettes, picking my toe nails and now my last bad anxious habit of chewing my finger nails.... all finished. I did a mind over matter voodoo trick and no longer am I chewing my finger nails.
Shit... now I am bored though. I got nothing left other than farting, and I'm not giving that up any time soon let me just add. |

His nails do look much better though.... the painful part is now he keeps showing everyone and I have to manicure them |

| | LOL are you running out of things to give up Anthony?
As for the new-man who likes manicures... sounds like you now got competition Nic!!
Hey, don't want to be a bad influence here, but instead of trying to give up something, why not try to master a new skill? Like tuneful farting? Or how big can you make the bubbles when you fart in the bath? LOL....
The delicate flower I am, I would have no idea what any of these things are of course....
PS. Well done on giving up the nail biting though! I've heard it's a hard habit to kick! |

And let me add, the walk from the restaurant to the car is the time to break wind. NOT waiting until both parties are in the car with the windows up and then trying the innocent look while saying 'What?'. LMAO Just my little pet peeve.
BTW-congrats Anthony. I wish my hubby would quit biting, too.

| | Ha ha I second that Lisa, my brothers have that vindictive little habit of waiting until we're all in the car with windows up to let rip... like sitting in a rotton drain... eugh |

LMAO At one point it got to bad and I had to go to a different section!! but hey that was the first black Friday rush shopping I wasn't elbow to elbow with a million other shoppers fighting over sales! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
