Well, I thought I would do the end of year cleanup off the forum which included a search of users who had zero posts and registered prior to 2007 with no participation recently, now removed from the forum.

I apologize to any user who feels they have been unjustly deleted, though you can always register again and become active. I'm not really into dead weight on the forum, hence why I delete them.

Just a heads up for those who get curious as to why the user member number has gone down again. Just me cleaning up as I do.

I feel so clean now.

When I first joined this forum I became aggravated with it. I was a temporary member and another member and myself has similiar issues but the forum kept us from contacting each other.

Now that I understand how this forum works and is ran I realize it is quite possibly one of the best forums on the net. I salute you Antony and the other moderators who make this a safe place for people to bear their souls yet shield others who don't want to be exposed to other people's problems as it may cause them problems.

Tactman, your welcome. We have experience in these matters of Internet forums, and let me just say that people aren't always who they say they are. We have found sexual predators upon this site, sadists, majority of spammers trying to advertise or sell themselves and the list goes on.

Our policies exist based purely on experience from this forum alone, and our methods have reduced members from 99.9% of the nonsense now. If we didn't block chat, messaging and so forth, we found from past experience that spammers would simply come here, discover not being able to post so they begin spamming members through the PM or chat systems.

Our policies are all based on past experience, and whilst may seem a little tough at first, your now seeing for yourself and understand why we have these policies in place. We really do just ask that new members have patience, continue posting regardless of their status, and they will come out of moderation if their posting history screams legitimacy all over it. We quickly find who's who in the zoo, though people must understand that we have many things to do, watch, read and participate within, so it all takes time.
