| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | All I want for Christmas is my Hubby home. Not to bring everyone down, but it is also my 30th 2 weeks after Christmas and even though everyone is telling me I HAVE TO have a party, I can't bring myself to plan one.
On a lighter note, Nicollette, Lisa and all, I also have some pretty choking dog farts to contend with here. She takes a particular liking to eating the tomoto leaves through the vegetable garden fence and they give her wind a particulalry acidic aroma - PHEW! |

| | For Christmas this year I am going with my family to Curacao and Venezuela for 2 weeks. I'm going to be snorkeling for the first time, which is kind of exciting but also scary because I have a fear of sharks. I'm hoping to enjoy my trip though, and spend lots of quality time with my family. My brother Scott and his partner are coming along, and I don't know either of them really well, I've only seen Scott once in 7 years, so I hope to get to know him a bit better on this trip. What I really want though is to be cancer-free this coming year (I am currently in remission). And I want my family to have an easier year in general. 2007 has been really tough. |

| | ok.......I would like santa to make 2008 more peaceful. I want to continue to deal with my PTSD in a healthy manner....continue to learn how to trust, my son will become more independant, my new move will go smoothly, they will find a long term solution for my back, I will return to work......I will figure out how to make a relationship with a male partner work. I also would like a tea cup poodle. |

| | Dear Santa.
I would really like a truck that doesn't break, someone to spend time with, a bit of money to spend on socializing. Since I can't actually have all those..
Could you please introduce me to a mechanic that is single? That way he can fix my truck, take me out on dates and pay for it. That way I got what I wanted anyways!
LOL
With all my love,
bec |
