Yes it would be lovely if he were well to have a pleasant holiday and see your son off! Though perhaps knowing your son is being deployed is difficult for him? I know Jim and I both have very mixed feelings about Colin going OS in the new year and we do not have PTSD. It may even be a trigger for him, considering how he acquired PTSD himself? That along with stress of the holiday season may be a bit too much for him.

Yes Kathy you are right it does seem all a bit to much. I am going away for a week on Monday to spend a week with my parents. Hubby keeps assuring me he will be ok with the business it will be quiet anyway this time of year.
He has asked me to stop nagging him he will be fine ( I hope so)
All I can do is keep my fingers crossed once he gets in here to work he is ok he just has trouble getting going?

Hi Jen
How are you going?
I know that hubby has tummy problems if he is stressed so it might just be other charming side effect of the ptsd.
Do you know what they are putting your hubby on now?

I hope you have a good time at your parents & have a chance to rest a little bit. Your hubby might possibly be a bit down as your parents are still around & it might just depress him a bit knowing it the 1st xmas coming up without his Dad. Despite that I really do hope you have a great time away.
Take care

Hi Jods good to hear from you I hope you are doing ok?
The Doc has him on Murelax and Endronax as well as his other meds?
I realise Xmas is going to be a bit harder this year thats why on Xmas Day it will be just him and me and my daughter will pop over for a while. Nice and quiet!
What are your plans?

Dear Jen
I am sorry to hear of your hubby's troubles of late; it really never does get better- kick in the teeth for the carers I reckon; but at least we know it is not intentional...
I do believe that your husband will make the very best possible effort to spend time with both yourself and your son, and I do hope that his best makes you feel a little better to (and I mean no disrespect to him by saying that).
Tammy

Hmmm haven't hear of those meds.Hope they are user friendly to hubby.

Lucky you Jen, I would love a quiet xmas day but alas its not to be.

Small group of the family (last count about 12) & catching up with Robs girls as soon as they wake (about 6/7am).
Just looking forward to the yummy food!

Glad to hear your son is coming up,you must be thrilled. Enjoy your time with him.
