| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | |

| | Forum Update After Christmas This is a notification to all members that the forum will be upgraded to the latest version which includes many new additions for both editors and members. Some will be activated by myself, some will not. You can see a full list of new additions to the version I am going to update too at vbulletin.
I will be working on this after Christmas to work out what I want to keep and what will only be a nightmare to control. This will mainly be behind the scenes on a new template I will create, and hopefully just rollover without any hiccups.

| | Very Important
Due to the nature of changes made in the next vbulletin version, I am going to have to close the forum at stages up to days, in order to completely rebuild the entire vbulletin system from scratch. Whilst I could just overwrite files as typical updates occur, this forum has many additions and hacks that where released prior, though have now been incorporated into vbulletin due to the sheer number of requests due to their important nature. What this means is that I can not simply remove hacks and overwrite, but I must actually remove hacks, remove all files, start all files from scratch and overwrite the database having removed any additions made to that also.
It is a large job and I cannot have any members posting upon the forum, browsing, etc whilst it occurs as the database would corrupt that way. Please be patient and expect some lengthy times where the forum is not accessible. When possible I will open it, though at times it may also only be read only until I have finished certain aspects.
Please be patient is all I can say... thanks. |

| | The chat authorization issue has now been fixed, so members must be within the "chat" group once again. A small issue was missed during the upgrade, though Flashcoms have fixed the issue now for us all. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
