Default 3-D Beowulf!!!

Hi everyone,
I had taken my Hubby and Stepson to a cinema to watch a 3-D Beowulf. Have to tell you, this movie laft me with moxed feelings, although I think it was worth watching. It is pretty different from the book, and, in my opinion, the book is more interesting.
The first part is rather disgusting than scary: Grendel the Monster looks just like a large Freddy Kruger.
But we found the second part just amazing. mostly because of 3-D effects. Goodness! You can see real arrows and spears flying right at you. Kind of scary, I was even closing my face with my hand. And SNOW!!!! OMG, it was so realistic, than I even felt cold! And the Dragon was just as a Dragon shuld be: terrible, but not disgusting.
And the tragic end of the story was so touching. Almost made us all cry! It was pretty far from the book, but at this point, I do not know which idea was better.
So, if you like movies of dragons and antique fighters - this is for you.
