Just Exactly What Is A Worry Box You Say

I send all of us the happiness I am experiencing this holiday season. I thank each and every one of you for all the support you have given me this year and ESPECIALLY during the last month.

Being able to share the internal strife and panic with people who understand has meant more to me than you know. I am so grateful for all the input, the good with the bad, and can't find words to express how fortunate I feel to have all of you care about me.

I only hope that I will be able to help you in this coming year as much as you have helped me.

Let's concentrate on the good in our lifes and let the rest of the junk go for a while.

What is a "WORRY BOX?" It is a wooden box and in it I have written down things I am worried about throughout the year. It will soon be time to take it down from the shelf and see just exactly what my worry box handled for me this year.

See, the idea is to not worry anymore once you put "the worry" into the box and place it on the highest spot in the house.

A WORRY BOX IS ANY CONTAINER OF YOUR CHOICE WHERE YOU PUT THE 'JUNK' THAT'S WORRYING YOU!

WRITE DOWN YOUR WORRY ON A PIECE A PAPER AND PUT IT IN THE BOX AND PUT THE BOX UP ON THE HIGHEST POINT IN YOUR WORLD (bookcase, shelf, whatever) AND LET THE BOX DO THE WORRYING FOR YOU. AT THE END OF THE YEAR YOU EMPTY THE BOX BY READING ABOUT ALL THE STUFF YOU ARE NOT WORRYING ABOUT ANYMORE. IT IS AN EYE OPENER AND IT DOES HELP! WELL AT LEAST IT HAS HELPED ME.

YOU DO HOWEVER, NEED TO SERIOUSLY LET THE BOX WORRY FOR YOU. MY MOM HAS A BOX AND HAS NAMED IT. LET YOUR MIND CREATE A WORRY WORLD IF YOU LIKE. DECORATE IT, NAME IT. ONE FRIEND PUT HER WORRIES IN HER BOX AND WENT OUT TO THE BEACH AND BURNED IT UNTILL IT WAS 'GONE'
