Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now.

Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year.

Default Resigning From Editing So I Can Participate - It's A New Year!
Call it a good run or bumpy one. I am burned out and tired. I cannot give back on the forum on the emotional level anymore or take anything from it, haven't for a long while except in private. We make policies to make things easier but they seem to make it more complicated in the end as I do not know anymore when to enforce them or let it slide as they don't always apply in a straight forward fashion. Not knocking anyone it just confuses me and I gave it my all. That is part of the problem. When I have time to spend here it has nothing to do with healing or continuing my progress. It is all about delete/undelete, approve, spam, porn, spats, and etc. Then I am too pooped to work on me or help.

Also, it seems I am taken way too personal on the forum as a whole when I do give my two cents since I am an editor. I would much rather people know I am just annoying them than think I am on some sort of witch hunt for pointing out policy or giving my opinion. I don't want to have to point out what the forum policies are when someone does not follow it. I would rather just participate in a thread so they know I am simply speaking from my heart on a topic.

I just want to help those who are where I am and have been and congratulate those who pass me up. Just like before as back then I was moving forward and I have spent my time spinning my wheels for a while. I just cannot do both.

Maybe when I am a bit better off I can try again but right now and not for a while can I do this. This forum is special to me and I want to keep it that way before I lose it.

BTW This is a celebration! So no pouty posts!

You have done an awesome job here veiled, and always proud of what you have achieved here. I agree with you though, in that you must look after you first and editing does not allow that with the increased pace of the forum.
