Anthony

WOW! Thanks for that one. Mother says my dad was cold, distant and lacking in any affection towards me. When my sister was born he gave her all the love and attention he never gave to me.

Things are beginning to come back in that he always called me a quitter.

Anthony, gonna go to my diary for this

Hmm - that's an interesting thought. I must have acquired my self esteem from other sources or successes in later life. So - it is possible to overcome?

Yes, you can typically overcome what has been done. It will just be harder than it need be....
