Default Great PTSD Book

Hi
Im new here but I thought i would let people know that i read a great book on ptsd. Its very triggering at times but explains all the symptoms and why we experience them. In the back are some suggestions for healing. It was very worth while reading and it made me realise that what i am going through is normal and i felt less alone. Its called Invisible Heroes: Survivors of Trauma and how they heal by Belleruth Naparstek. It really has changed my life so much by making me realise i am not insane - i have ptsd - and it has helped me to start to think about the road to recovery. Hope you find it just as helpful.

Hiya Kathy
Thank you for your reply. I only hope that me having gone through what i have and having read this book can help someone else. I also read a great book about coping successfully with panic attacks but it is not specifically for PTSD. Let me know if it is of interest to you. Take care
