Default Diagnosed with Chronic PTSD

Hello everyone,

I was looking on the internet information about PTSD, and found this forum. I've just recently been diagnosed with Chronic PTSD. A lot has happened in my life, but my counselor seems to think I've had this most of my life, and now is just beginning to get worse. I'm hoping to find some good information, and maybe when I need to talk to someone will be able to on this forum. Pray for me. Thanks..

Hi Fairlena, welcome to the forum. PTSD is PTSD here, no need to worry, all suffer the same symptoms as you will no doubt be quite surprised by reading here and understanding the immediate similarities.

Yes Fairlena,
There is an abundance of helpful people here at the site, and the best part of all, is the knowledge that we no longer are alone, and the only ones that went through our nightmares...there are many.

Hi fairlina,
It's nice to meet you.
Welcome! I am also new.
I have not been diagnosed, but I from
reading information on what you have, I do believe
I have the same thing.

I had a pretty traumatic childhood, beginning at age 2 or 3.
Like you, I was able to hold down all or most of the severity of these symptoms..until fairly recently.

All of a sudden, they kind of took me over..and I found myself
in unfamiliar grounds..trying to find someone out there who can understand.

Hopefully, this is the place.
I'm sorry for your hardship, and I will pray for your highest good.

:)
Taraj
