| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | |

| | Anger: Road Rage I know a lot of us suffer from anger issues. It does not matter what my mood but even the smallest idiot on the road seems to inflame some intense road rage. My questions is: When driving, do the smallest mistakes trigger your anger?

Reason: Spelling.... use firefox with spell check if you struggle.

| | I heard that a person doesn't really learn to cuss until they learn to drive. Kind of a telling statement.
As for me, my mood and my stress levels all tend to dictate how much anger I get at other drivers who have bone-head moments. Sometimes I can laugh it off and sometimes I have to stop driving for a moment and sit to get my anger back under control.

| | I didn't vote as there wasn't a sometimes. I guess like Lisa, it would depend on my mood and stress level. There are certain things from other drivers that really piss me off. |

| | I voted no. Small mistakes made by other drivers don't upset me much at all. We all make them even though we may not want to admit it.
Recklessness is a different subject. |

| | Wendy, I added "sometimes" for you or anyone else who wishes to vote for that option. |

| | John, I added "sometimes" so that the people who only experience road rage part of the time, in certain circumstances or mood, may also vote in your poll. Otherwise those people are excluded and the poll is not as accurate. |

| | Kathy,
Thank you for adding the sometimes. Although I didn't realize it would cause a problem. I wasn't looking for a fight nor to piss anyone off. I merely wanted to vote, but couldn't. |

| | Hello Jonathan, I voted 'sometimes' myself. Its not as black and white as yes or no. I do lose it but when I'm going through a bad time, not slept well or are just having a bad day with loads of trigger. Otherwise I'm ok. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
