Welcome back Evie!
I think a lot of Americans don't have a good grasp of how our government's actions are viewed around the world. I listen to news from other countries on short wave radio sometimes to hear a different perspective. Enlightening to say the least! I don't know if politics belong here or not. I guess that's up to Anthony to decide. I don't mind having the discussion because I don't take it personally.

Ok troops! I'm not sure how I lost control of my thread, but seems I have.
This was meant to make you laugh. Lighten you day. Show how insane our world can get sometimes and maybe even a chance for me to brag just a little.
Under the circumstances I am rather proud of myself that I did not jump the counter, find the nearest human and LOOSE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So how did my light hearted, humorous, and somewhat FUNNY thread become a place for political statement and opinions.
I'm not mad, just a little confused That's all. Cuz now someone who could really enjoy this story might miss it cuz they only see political stuff(want to call it crap, but I won't) Start you own damn thread for that!

I so agree with you Grama-Herc! I feel that this was an example of an american idiot, not our government. I'm sure every country has idiots in them. The thread got way off track and that just isn't right. I truly enjoyed this thread 'til it got political. I hope this gets it back on track.

I apologize Herc, I had thought of splitting the thread, however it became a bit complex with some members commenting on both subjects. Sometimes splitting a thread becomes a bit difficult. In any event, thank you for asking it to be brought back on topic, we do try to keep threads on topic on this forum. |

I am convinced that the pharmacy must have been run on a Windows Server. And the electricity going out . . . oh oh oh oh , and you really peed your pats. Just too sweet!!!!!!!

Thank you guys for not chewing on me for yelling at you for messing with my thread.
It is just that I just worked so long and it was so hard to verbally express the entire insanity of the trip to the pharmacy. I did not want it to get lost in the political crap.
Kathy, I appreciate your watching us and keeping us on track. But I don't think you could have split like you said. Hope I was not out of line with my tiny tirade |

I don't think you were out of line Herc. I'm sorry for my comments also. I really don't appreciate it myself when people go off topic in my threads. I get irritated about it so I understand how you felt. |
