| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | Temporary Change In Carer Editor Presently Kathy is not well, so she has been removed as the carer admin temporarily and Nicolette has been given moderator permissions to manage the carer forums until Kathy's return in a month or two.
Nicolette has not been given administrator access, only moderator to edit posting behaviour. Currently the only administrator is myself, which means any administrative tasks beyond editing can only be handled by myself for the next month or two.
Anyone who has sent a message to Kathy in the last 48hrs from this post date, I would suggest you send to me if not actioned as yet, as it will not be actioned otherwise for months.
Please DO NOT send messages to Kathy either privately or email wanting to know more, or sending your regards, as they will not get to her any time soon. If you wish to send such things, just post them here and leave it at that so her family can pass them too her. DO NOT send me or Kathy's family requests for information, to be nosey or curious, as they will fall on deaf ears also. If Kathy's family wishes to disclose information they will do so at their own will, not at the request of any member. Please respect others privacy even if you are legitimately concerned.... RESPECT PRIVACY.
Many Thanks,
Anthony |

| | It is a pleasure to help Kathy and the forum out in Kathy's absence and I do sincerely wish Kathy good health and a speedy recovery.
Just to clarify my position; I prefer not having administrator privileges as stated some time ago as I cannot give the forum such a commitment due to my own personal obligations. I am happy to moderate the Carer's section but please see Anthony for any other assistance you require.
Also, just to re-iterate what Anthony has said, please do not bombard Evie, Jim and Travis with PMs or emails of curiosity and respect Kathy by leaving her in peace. Thank you.

| | Take all the time you need for yourself, Kathy. You give so much of yourself, so now take time and recuperate. We will all be thinking of you and your family every day. Take time for just you.

| | Much appreciated all. My apologies for not responding sooner. Kathleen had a heart attack a week ago, hence the hiatus. No worries however, she is stable and doing well, improving every day. Myself, been busy running the household without her. Evie is taking it hard but managing. Rest of the family is helping out where they can. Kathleen thanks you Nicolette for helping out with the Carers forum. She misses everyone, and hopes you are all well.
