| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | I'm sorry Pandora, I really am. I wish I had some kind of answer or magic wand or something for you. I can only say try to hang in there! Don't be too discouraged maybe there's something better for you waiting around the corner. Don't let that asshole get the better of you!
I'll be thinking about you in the meantime and send you my positive vibes that you can get through this okay.
Take care of yourself, Morgan |

| | Pand,
Is there anything legal that you can do??? This just seems so unfair. I'm not sure about the laws in Canada, but I certainly would try and find out if I were you... Check online or see if you have some kind of tenants rights book. I know we do here in the states.
I would do whatever I had to, this guy is a jerk!!!!!! |

| | I'm not sure about the legal rights in your area but I don't think he can just kick you out like that.
If there is no law to protect you then I would make sure the house looks a wreck when potential buyers come and look at it. I would tell them the plumbing is always backed up and the hot water heater is ready to go out and that the gas pipe has a leak and on and on and on. Anything you can think of that is wrong with the house tell the potential buyers about it. If you had a problem with rodents, bad neighbors just keep thinking of all the negative things wrong with it to keep anyone from wanting to buy it.
Run them off anyway you can because he deserves it since he lied to you.
Good luck!

| | Pand, the law is 60 days written notice for eviction. Unless you have that, you don't have to leave and this includes the new owners. Just because the house is being sold, doesn't mean you have to move out. Have you received notice, or are you panicking?
