| |  Not Much of a Talker - Story Buried For Years
Maybe writing will be easier. I am quite introverted and have kept my story buried very deeply for years. I was diagnosed with PTSD several years ago and have been in and out of therapy several times. My DH knows very little of my story. I have given him bits and pieces over the years, but just cannot get to a point that I can tell my story. I am afraid he will become angry. Conflict is extremely uncomfortable for me, but my anxiety and shutting down is very uncomfortable for him.

Many of us have been wuite silent about our PTSD and trauma for many years. I hope your time on the forum will help you be more able to face it. |
