I'm grateful that i have a roof over my head and some money in the bank. I have a close friend that's not so lucky right now.

Today...after scraping the bottom of the barrel, I am grateful to find enough kindness and patience to withhold the harsh judgement towards myself. It's enough acceptance to put down the club for awhile or at least be more gentle with it.

I'm grateful for the chai tea I'm making right now.

I"m grateful I've had TONS of time for meditation......it's helping a lot.

I'll be more grateful when my fire gets going. Always a struggle every morning.

I'm grateful I'm not feeling so negative anymore. Something has lifted, like I have hope for a real life now.

Grateful for this practice, hope you all don't mind if I 'chime' in everyday.

hmmm.....

I'm grateful for:

My 'new' relationship with my daughter (she is 22)

My new hybrid car (waited three years)

The weather ( I love it in all forms)

Saturdays, to be alone with myself to rest and take care of myself - BREATHE

My therapist who keeps things in perspective and cares

My job: students who distract me from my personal life, colleagues to share with who respect me and don't know anything about my personal challenges. My job takes me out of myself, it has saved me literally - over and over.

My hobbies that soothe me.

Grama-Herc:

I've read many of your postings, and like all of us you have endured your struggles and been brave to share and get support. AWESOME!

I just had to share with you - when I first saw your handle and every time I see it I think "Grandma-Hercules"!

You go girl!

I hope you see this and it isn't buried in all the posts. Maybe someone can alert you to this response so you do read it.

I am grateful today for the very special friend that I have who makes me feel special! (its been a long time since I felt like that)

Oh, and for the most special book I read which lead me to healing and actualising my dreams 'This Child of Mine' a therapist's journey, Martha Wakenshsaw.

And sourcream and onion pringles, mmmmmmmmmmmm! :-)

And the gym for damage control!

Spirit x

I'm grateful for this cup of coffee, Bud ransacking the rug (he's having so much fun), and I'm grateful to you, Grama-Herc.

I guess I can even say I'm grateful for the rain we are supposed to have every day for the next 7 days. I've lived in the PNW for 15 years, trained as an Ecologist here, spent many days in the field slogging through the downpours. After all, it is a rainforest...........so I'm determined to not complain. I'm grateful it allows for so much LIFE........no other place I've been has so much green everywhere, the color of growth.
I'm grateful for the rain.

This thread makes my soul / soal sigh with relief. I'm grateful for that.

Birdsong -- the songbirds are beginning to chorus here!

Sunshine -- I sat out today, all wrapped up from head to toe, and soaked some light in.

Weekend crosswords.

Humility.

The ability/willingness to relinquish "being right" when I've tussled with someone. My husband and I got over a nasty "hump" this weekend.

The sound of spring rivulets -- all that melting snow...

Waking up after two days of high fever and horrific headaches...to relief and a reduction in pain!

Everyone, the world 'round, who is on a healing path. We make a difference by what choices we make!

The ability to choose!!!

All the contributions to this thread that cascade my memory into joy!

The potentials for heart-to-heart conversation and friendship that evolve through our sharings on this forum.
