| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | Sorry Roo
I had to take my beautiful, fantastic Fancy Pants(cat) to the SPCA on Saturday to be rehomed.
I had to move in with my mom and my 3 cats had no space. We had been in a huge 2 bedroom apartment and now we have just 2 small rooms. They were very stressed by the move(in July) and have not been adjusting at all. Everyone of them has been sick from the stress. It really was a case of overcrowding!
She was getting more and more agressive toward the other cats and she finally started attacking them. My mom is 83 and I simply can not have a agressive cat around her either.
It was a sad day around here and is still sad around here. But I know I did the right thing and for that I am grateful |

| | I'm grateful that I have my dad around for support, he forced me out of bed today at 1:00 and made me get in the shower. I feel better, now. |

| | I am grateful for your dad too.....1:00pm.....OMG!!!! You need to get up early girl, go for a walk, sit outside smell the fresh air, watch the sunrise, or just spend some quiet time reflecting. Not in bed.........
Staying in bed is not a good thing unless we are sick.........
Hugs.... |

| | I agree, I used to use bed a lot to avoid myself. Sometimes, it's the best we can do though. |

| | I'm grateful that the 'wired' nervous system seems to have calmed down today. I'm feeling some peace. I'm really grateful for that. |

Music it's such a precious gift!
Listening to my iPod whilst re-creating order in my house.
The gym and feeling well enough to go, gonna kick-some ass later!
New special friends.
Letter from the hospital with new T appointment.
I am also grateful for what TLight wrote above, I feel so wired sometimes. like I am loaded with caffeine (have not consumed caffeine for 5 years due to anxiety) I thought that feeling belonged to me.
Thanks TLight!
