Default Neurontin

Is anyone taking this drug?

I was on it years ago, still in denial then and not actively working thru things. Just admitted I had Fibro.

They've been trying to 'rebalance my brain chemistry' for years now.

Back on it, up to 600mg a day. I'm more in my body now, so I can even tell if something is affecting me. Seems to be helping with the anxiety a bit, but I'm nervous cause I've seen a couple of lawsuit ads on TV.

Plus, my appetite has seemed to skyrocket! Craving protein like crazy.

Anyone want to share their experiences with it?

I was on it for a short period of time. I felt pretty sick, [extreme nausea, etc], when I was on it, and even ended up in the ER one night. But, this was when I first starting having a lot of panic attacks and such, so my doc and I didn't know if it was the Neurontin or the anxiety, but I decided to try something else.

I also take this but I was put on it more for nerve pain associated with complications from a back injury that I have also.

I am taking 600mg at bedtime and 300mg..morning and afternoon...I was taking 600mg, three times a day but felt it was too much. I am not sure if it is helping or not but considering all the things I am dealing with in my life at present and I am not falling apart totally...maybe this is it.
Take care. I have had no appetite and a lot of nausea too but I thought that was the pain meds.

I have taken this medication (also known as Gabapentin) but it makes me 'woozy' to a fault.

I didn't have nausea or appetite affect; just woozy like lightheaded. That's why I discontinued it, I had trouble maintaining my train of thought.

Yes, but will not know a treatment plan until the 26th when I will see the psychiatrist.
