Default New Member Here - Served in Somalia

My name is Dave and I am from South Jersey. I served in Somalia and from time to time experience severe nightmares. Because of the stigma that goes with it I have pretty much kept my mouth shut about it and I just deal with it.

I found this site while researching for my next book. If there are any authors/writers here I would entertain the idea of having a co-author. I want the book itself to show that soldiers returning from the war are not alone as far as PTSD is concerned.

Hi Duck and welcome to the forum. I'm not sure if there are any authors here but we can help you in managing your PTSD.

Peace
Tammy

The last book is titled:

Time Well Wasted: The Story of 1st Plt., 10th MP Co. In Somalia

It is due out in August and chronicles the first four months of Operation Restore Hope. It is the Army's version of Jar Head only with combat.

I am working on 2 more:

PTSD: Surviving the Trip Home

and another that doesn't have a title yet.
