| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | |

| | I Lost My Voice - Herc & Grace Moderated Now Seems that while I took a couple of days off and away from the forum, I LOST MY VOICE.
I've been accused of seeking sympathy from the people here.
Instead I have apparently lost my freedom of free speech.
Yes, this is Anthony's forum. He can play his little HIlter game all he wants to, but in this case, he is wrong.
I was not seeking sympathy nor was I trying to change his rules. I was simply expressing an OPINION. Remember what that is Mr "A".
I have participated here with the miguided impression that I could express my opinion. I must have been wrong.
Anthony won't let me play with his toys. He does not know how to share. I feel that by me expressing myself as I did, he felt threatened in some way.
I truly enjoy being on this forum. It has served me well in an attempt to recover and get over many issues in my life. I have PTSD and always will. We do not recover from this. We learn to live with it in the best functional way we can. We adjust. We manage when possible. Life is hard. ANY HELP WE CAN GET is a bonus for us no matter the source.
Who wrote the rule that some sympathy is harmful?
I've had 11 years of therapy off and on. I spent 10 weeks in the hospital for this crap. Does that give me enough training to advise people on how to get over this disorder? I don't think Soooooooooooooooooooo!
I read a diary which simply stated said that Anthony's attitude and manor of running this forum is actually dangerous to us. Why has "that" not gotten a shame on you from Mr "A" Why has that author not been raked over the coals for expressing an opinion?
I have made what I think are a few friends here and am going to miss the interaction with them. I will be removing Hercules,BC, Fancy and my granddaughters photos from the forum. I will have no reason for them to be here anymore. I hope you guys keep up the group about your pets. It will help during times of loss, especially since sympathy is not allowed here!
It is obivious that I will be banned forever. But before that happens I want to thank all of those who have helped me over the last year. I have come to know many of you and appreciate the help, interaction, feedback and Oh Yes the sympathy you have given to me and others.

| | Once again, you have over-stepped your boundaries here Herc. The rules are quite straight forward, again; if you cannot comply with them then leave the forum. That is your choice, not mine. I do not make a person come to this forum, you choose. As a member of this forum you DO NOT have the explicit right to dictate anything, which you and Grace have been doing. You seem to have shifted to a conflict attitude, which I simply will not tolerate here.
I am happy to use both yourself and Grace as examples, both have now been moderated due to your consistent disruption to the forum in desiring to attack me on how I run this forum. Forum belongs to me, forum has rules, forum has policies, IF YOU DON'T LIKE THOSE SIMPLY, FREE, EASY STIPULATIONS, LEAVE THE FORUM IMMEDIATELY AND CEASE POSTING.
How hard is it? I do not tolerate peoples bullshit when it comes to running this forum. You can voice an opinion all your like about general matters, about PTSD, you can voice your opinion about how I run the forum, but when you continue to voice yourself after you have been asked, then told to quit it and your point has been rejected, live with it. You do not have a right to tell me how to run this forum. Members had input into the rules and policies, and they are based from those earlier community discussions. They are not up for constant debate or discussion. I take onboard all suggestions, but they are often done privately. When you want to take your attack public, you will lose every time here. You had been warned and warned, you think your clever or will gain votes. I don't care if people like me or not, you seem to have me confused Herc, as does Grace obviously. I really just don't care if people like me or not, it isn't what I run this forum for. I run this forum because I found things that work, I have shared those things and they are now working for others. The forum now garnishes others experience to help build upon a basic foundation of knowledge. That is what the forum exists for. Its not your personal sounding board to gain votes of confidence or turn it into your own playground. Forum has one owner, live with that fact please.
When I feel you both want to conform to the same policy and rules we all do, then you will be removed from moderation. Until then, enjoy your time out and maybe think about what rights you do and don't have here.... this isn't America with your freedom to speech garbage.... this is a privately owned forum which has rules and policies in which YOU WILL conform or you will not be allowed here.
I have my kids to play with and enjoy, yet I am here having to close down this nonsense and illustrate the rules again. Live with rules and regulations, otherwise, find yourself another forum as your shit will not be tolerated here. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
