| | Do You Sleep With Alot of Covers? Curious - does anyone else sleep with tons of covers on their bed no matter the temperature outside?
I have a theory that I love tons of covers because they allow me to feel like a little child wrapped tightly in a blanket, nice and safe. I have my down comforter on my bed no matter the temp outside along with the sheet, another soft blanket and 4 super soft throws. |

| | I always have to have covers, even when it's really hot (and I DON'T have air conditioning). For me, I think it has to do with feeling vulerable when my body is exposed, even if I'm wearing my jammies. |

| | Yes, I have a nest also. Flannel sheets, 2 blankets and a comforter on me, over my head, and two cats laying on me for extra weight. I like to feel cocooned. |

| | Yes, most of the time I'm cold and require a sheet and one or two covers on top of that. If I am hot I usually still need at least a sheet or else I feel like its not really bed time and can't sleep as well.
When I was a kid my parents tended to keep the house temperature lower at night to save heating costs. I guess I just got used to doing it that way.

| | Definitely yes! Regardless of temperature.
To comfortably fall asleep, I have to have my comforter over my exposed ear. It is like a security blanket.
I like the reference to it being "a nest"-a cocoon-safe

| | I voted no cause I don't need a lot. But I do have to have something covering me in order to feel safe. |

| | I sleep with as many pounds of blankets as possible, even in 90 degree weather. The weight makes me feel safer.

| | It is a weight issue with me also. If it is hot, I still have a sheet, blanket and comforter. Can't sleep without it! |

| | If I'm in bed, I have to sleep with a sheet and a blanket/comforter most of the time. But I've been known on occasion to fall asleep just about any where with out. I can nap almost any where/any time. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
