Default Hi - Journalism Student Doing Online Community Study

Hey all-

I'm a journalism student at Northwestern University and my group is doing research on online communities. We thought a community like this would be interesting due to the support and good it brings to people who really need it. Me and my partners were wondering if there would be anyone willing to talk with us about how PTSD Forum has helped you out in coping and dealing with life. We won't be asking any questions about your actual trauma, just merely questions about the site and your experience with it. Thanks in advance.

Perhaps you could give some more information about your studies and research. What exactly are you researching? How will your data be used? and, bearing in mind this is a global community, where in the world is Northwestern University?

I think you may be able to gather this information without contacting individuals but simply reading threads that already exist in the different groups.

Several people have responded previously discussing how the forum has affected their lives and dealing with PTSD from any viewpoint.
