Default Need Disability - Don't Want to Return to Iraq

I do not want to return to Iraq, I was involved in full on enemy engagement ouside Bagdad and now I want to get married in October and my fiance wants me here. I am an RN in training and the VA denied me any finacial assistance for my BSN schooling. I was a marine national guard and served 2 years in Bagdad. Can I get disability with hearing loss, back pain from a bomb that threw me 25 yards and blew all my cloths off ?? I wake up with my weapon by my bed every night and sometimes any noise makes me grab my fiance in the night sleeping ??? I never really sleep well. Is PSTD a recognized disability with trhe VA? What do I need to do? I have downloaded all the disabilty forms from the VA Web

Welcome.
I'm in the process of getting disability and it's not a easy thing to deal with for us with PTSD. But I know it's worth it.

I have no idea about the disability thru the VA, but I just want to thank you, and your fiance, for the sacrifices you have made to protect us all.

Yes it is, PTSD rate is 50% but will disqualify you for almost any gov job down the road.
