Default Went to Movies & Got a Distinction on 1st Assignment!

I'm so proud of myself!
After barely leaving the house for about 6 months, apart from when necassary for doctors or counsellors appointments or food shopping etc. I managed to finally catch up with one of my good friends, and we went to the movies!
I was so worried about being stuck in a dark cinema, with the loud noises from the movies, and just generally being freaked out around that many people...but i was fine! I kinda forgot how good it feels to just hang out with a good friend.

I also started studying again this year, through correspondence, after being suspended from school in 2003! I'm doing a Professional Writing & Editing course, and i got a distinction for my first assignment i handed in! I honestly can't believe it! I suppose now would be a good time to learn ways to deal with good things happening!

This is great. It sounds like you had some anxiety but managed it and after you were involved totally lost yourself in the moment. Awesome.

Glad to hear about your schooling too. It's good to get your brain moving again isn't it?

Yep, you're right about having some anxiety about it, i just had to keep telling myself that if something horrible did happen that i could just leave, and i had my friend with me who would help out too!

The schooling thing gives me something to do while i'm stuck at home alot of the time due to other health problems. I'm still over the moon about the mark!

Well done... really proud of you for just doing this... excellent work. Your thoughts are spot on too... being rational and commonsense, in that if it all falls apart on you, you can just remove yourself for a break. Really well done Kara.
